Where to Find the Golden Key & Golden Chest
OVERVIEW
As you make your way around the Islands in Palworld you will find yourself coming across lots of types of Chests, from Normal to Purple and Red but there is also another type of Chest, the Golden Chest!
Where to Find the Golden Keys
Originally we thought there was one place for the Golden Key and one place for the Golden Chest however as we’ve continued to play we’ve found more, and we will continue to update this Guide as we find more locations.
Location 1 – No Mans Trail
The first place we came across a Golden Key was at No Mans Trail. This area is found on the Northern side of the Map and you will want to have a flying mount Pal to make this easier. Below is a quick location of the chest and key. The key is located at the Top, marked with a Yellow Circle and the Chest is Marked with a yellow square.
This chest gave me Gold Coin x157, Giga Sphere x3, and a Refind Metal Helm Schematic x1. Initially, I assumed there was one, but this is just a rare type of chest you can find around the map.
Location 2 – The Abandoned Mineshaft
The second way and the next location is something for later on in the game. This is not an early-game activity as you will need to fight to get your Golden Keys. You want to make your way to an Abandoned Mineshaft, we’ve seen multiple scattered around the map, but the one we saw here was at the location below.
The location is in the center of the white Square. You want to be on the ground floor as the Mineshaft is low down and will lead you underground. Make your way through the Mineshaft and you will find a Level 40 Black Marketeer, if you defeat him, he will drop you some Golden Keys!
Where to Find the Golden Chest
As we continue to play Palworld we will continue to update this guide with additional locations for the Golden Chests but the one Chest Location we have found so far is in the north next to the No Mans Trail Waypoint.
