How to Incubate and Hatch Eggs in Palworld
OVERVIEW
Let’s be honest, some of the most exciting parts of playing Pokemon Go was hatching your eggs and Palworld is no exception. As you explore the world you will come across Eggs in the wild and in this short Guide we are going to teach you How to Incubate and Hatch Eggs in Palworld.
Finding an Egg in the World
The world is vast and you will come across many Pals, other Humans, and maybe even players – depending on your server! As you explore there is a likely chance that at some point you will stumble across an Egg! So far we’ve come across these types of Eggs:
- Large Dark Egg
- Large Verdent Egg
- Large Electric Egg
- Scorching Egg
- Damp Egg
- Common Egg
How to Incubate and Hatch Eggs in Palworld
So you’ve now got yourself an egg or two and you are eager to hatch them to see what Pal awaits you inside. The first thing you are going to need to do is get yourself an Egg Incubator. Now depending on the server you’re playing on and the settings that it has, you may unlock the Egg Incubator in different ways.
On our playthrough, the Egg Incubator is locked behind the Ancient Technology. On another playthrough which was set to Casual, the Egg Incubator could be unlocked with normal Technology Points. If your Egg Incubator also requires 1 Point of Ancient Technology, you will need to defeat a Boss Pal found in the Open World, once defeated you will be awarded with an Ancient Technology Point to unlock your Egg Incubator.
Once you have unlocked your Egg Incubator you want to build 1, or 10, depending on how many eggs you’ve collected! We recommend placing the Egg Incubators inside because these little Pals require a bit of looking after.
The Right Temperature
Once you’ve got your Egg Incubators built and the Eggs Incubating, you will want to do your best to get the Eggs Comfy. Yes, that’s right, you want to make sure your Eggs are comfy! It’s kind of funny but there is actually a mechanic behind this. The more comfy an egg is, the faster it will incubate.
As you can see from the image below, the Large Dark Egg on the right is Very Comfortable and gives a buff of +100% incubation speed, whereas the Scorching Egg seems a little Cold and has a +0% incubation speed.
You may notice that the Scorching Egg is Cold but everything else is warm. I believe this is because inside that Scorching Egg is a Fire type Pal which requires much more heat than the others. This is where later down the line you may which to house your Egg Incubators differently for different types of Pals – we will get back to you on the min-max way for looking after your eggs in the future!
Once the timer goes to 0, you will be able to Hatch your Egg and see which Pal is waiting for you – Good luck! That is the basics on how to Incubate and Hatch your Eggs in Palword.
If you have any questions you’re welcome to come and ask on our Community Discord server and we will have lots of helpful guides on our Palworld Homepage. Palworld is a monster-catching, survival and crafting game, but incorporates a variety of mechanics from other genres in order to provide a completely new experience for everyone.
